Tree Thoughts

I either walk or drive under this amazing tree every day. Sometimes several times a day. Today it caught my attention because it was blowing so hard, and every branch was moving.

It struck me that, unless the tree was doing something significant, I ignored it.

I ignored it’s beauty, its size, its resilience, and its contribution to our world.

So easy to do. Just keep going under. Eyes down, mind on all that needs to be done. All the pressures of our busy lives.

Because of this windy day, decided to make a conscious decision to look up. Enjoy the view and not miss what is right in front of me.
